What Groovequake Is

• A live radio station.One continuous stream, programmed automatically, with Captain Groovequake on the mic between songs. You tune in — you don't control what plays next, just like real radio.
• An on-demand music platform.Beyond the live stream, play individual songs, full albums, and your own playlists whenever you want — like songs and build a library that's yours.
• A platform for original music. Solo artists, bands, and producers of all genres are welcome — including AI-generated music. Anyone who holds the lawful right to publish their music can broadcast it here.
• A community. Listeners can send shoutouts, dedications, and song requests. CG reads them on air. Artists build a following. Everyone vibes.
• A weekly charts show. Every week CG counts down the hottest songs on the station — with live commentary, drama, and cosmic DJ energy.

What Groovequake Is Not

• ✕Not just a streaming playlist.The live stream is still radio — tune in, don't control what plays next there. But you can also play any song or album on demand anywhere else on the site, like songs, and save your own playlists.
• ✕Not for cover songs.Covers aren't allowed — full stop. Only original compositions, period.
• ✕Not a podcast platform.Audio-only talk, spoken word without music, and podcast content aren't supported. Spoken word set to music is fine — it's still music.
• ✕Not YouTube.YouTube links don't work here. Link your music from Suno, Udio, or any public mp3/mp4 URL.

For Artists

Artists pay a small monthly subscription to broadcast their music on the station. Your music gets played on the stream, introduced by Captain Groovequake, and discovered by listeners worldwide. No identity verification, no gatekeeping — if you make music, you can broadcast. There's no selling on Groovequake.fm, but artists can optionally link their song pages to their own online store, making it easy for listeners to buy their music.

For Listeners

Listening is free, with or without a listener account. Create a free listener account to send shoutouts, dedications, and song requests — CG will read them on air. Follow your favourite artists and subscribe to get notified of new releases, like songs, build playlists, and be part of the community. Explicit content filtering is available in your account settings.
